Townland Valuation of Cullyramer [Parish of Desertoghill]

This page from [PRONI ref. VAL/1/B/54A-C] shows 4 houses that were recorded in Cullyramer [Parish of Desertoghill] on the 5th November 1832 that were thought to of a high enough valuation to be possibly included. In fact the criterion of more than £3 per annum was subsequently applied and only two of the houses were included - the original numbers 1 and 3. Note, however, that their numbers were amended in red and it is these amended red number 1 and 2 numbers correspond to numbers on the accompanying valuation map. Actually the map that I have used is really a copy of the first edition of the Ordnance Survey Map c.1833.

Details are given of the age, condition and dimensions of each house listed. This information is in the form of a code. For more details on the code used by the valuers - read this. Note that it is relatively easy to match these houses up with those shown on the 1859 valuation map.
