Townland Valuation of Coolafinny This page from [PRONI ref. VAL/1B/550A] shows the 4 houses that were valued in the townland of Coolafinny on 2nd June 1832. There were probably more houses that did not reach the threshold of £3.00 per annum for inclusion but, clearly these have not been listed. Details, often in code, are given of the condition, age and dimensions of each house - read this for an explanation of the code, etc.Note that the numbers in the first column were the numbers that were added to the accompanying valuation map [Val/1A]. It is relatively easy to match up these houses with the 1859 valuation map.
