valued in the townland of Muff [all in the village of modern
day Eglinton] on 2nd June 1832. Details, often in code, are
given of the condition, age and dimensions of each house - read
this for an explanation of the code, etc.
The
numbers in the first column were the numbers that were added
to the accompanying valuation map [Val/1A]. It is relatively
easy to match up these houses with the 1859 valuation map.
