Townland Valuation of Lisbunny

When the townland of Lisbunny was first valued on the 16th July 1831, nine houses were listed with the name of the occupiers and the proposed valuation of each house [PRONI ref. VAL/1/B/554]. These names, a brief description of the buildings and the valuation of each property is given in the table below. As most of the buildings did not reach the 3.00 per annum threshold, and the two that did were just over 3.00, there are no further details on the dimensions, age and condition of these houses. However, the numbers of these houses are marked on the accompanying VAL/1/A/5/28 & 29 valuation maps of 1833. Note, that with the exception of No. 1 [William Lindsay's house], these houses were located in the Lisbunny Rosborough part of the townland.
