[Griffith's Nos. 29-34 +18 The Diamond]

This photograph, taken some time in the 1920s shows the north side of the street [Nos. 29 to 34 on the 1859 Griffith's Map + 18 The Diamond]. McKay & Co. (Drapers) was on the corner with Park Street [Rosemary Lane]. Next door was McCloskey's Barber's shop, followed by Daniel Todd (Grocer & Poulterer), John McCandless (Plumber, Gasfitter, & Ironmonger), Joseph McMullan (Chemist & Photographer), John Tyler & Sons, Ltd. (Boot Warehouse), The Misses McLarnon (Newsagents) & Samuel Rogers (Watch Maker) probably in the same premises and Tweedy Acheson at the corner with the Diamond. The next photograph show the front of McLarnon's shop in the late 1920s..
