| It is relatively easy to match the shops
in this photograph to the 1960s and the earlier 1900s
photographs. Note again
the break in the building line between nineteenth-century Church Street and
Kingsgate Street. Today these two shops [now one occupied by
Vodaphone] are part of Kingsgate Street.
