VAL/12/B Griffith's Revision pages for Union Street, Ballymoney
The use of the
red colour against Nos. 35 to 39 indicates that they were part of the
first batch of new houses in this part of the street. William John Frizzell
appears to have moved into No. 35 [formerly numbered 13] in 1896. By
1897 he had moved next door to No. 33 - see page 27. The colours used
for houses Nos. 41 to 43 suggest that they were possibly not built in
1896, were vacant in 1897 and the tenants moved in during 1898. I must
stress, however, that these dates do not give a precise date for when
an event took place - they simply record the fact that it had taken
place since the valuer was last in the street.
